And here are a few impressions from China by our partners, the CSSC Technical Products, based in Qingdao, who tested the K868 under extreme conditions in Ningxia in the northwest of China. Thank you for your dedication, the great photos and videos!
Ningxia (寧夏 / 宁夏) is an autonomous region in the northeast of China. Especially cereals such as maize, wheat and rice are grown there, where any farming requires irrigation.
The plains and basins crossed by Yellow River, form the main agricultural areas used for agriculture, which is lost by intensive and false use of fertility. Slash and burn is a big problem here.
There is grown so-called "rice straw". It's not like our cereal straw hollow inside, but a full-fiber and it is traditionally made into carpet broom. However, shoes, baskets, carpets and mattresses are made with it. In Ningxia there are sand dunes, which are stabilized with straw. In addition, it can be sustainably used as fuel for heating.
In order the quality of the fibers is preserved, rice straw must have a certain moisture content, so the fields are always watered and the straw is moist to wet. This experience we had to make. The K464 made a hard examination and passed it. We can proudly announce that the K464 is the only baler worldwide that can press rice straw.
This year the CSSC Technical Products Ltd. presented the K868 at the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME).
The CIAME is the largest agricultural machinery show in China, whose influence extends into the inner Mongolia. This is the key to a potential market, which has more than 100,000 visitors and prospective customers attracted this year from the agricultural machinery sector.
First use in Milzau near Bad Lauchstädt (Saale, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany).
As we know pictures speak louder than words. And animated pictures say so much more.
We already presented these articles at this year's AGRITECHNICA. But we are still planning an online shop with more references.
Here are some impressions of the AGRITECHNICA-Exhibition this year.
The AGRITECHNICA in Hanover (Germany) is the world's largest agricultural technology trade exhibition and is organized by the German Agricultural Society.
The first AGRITECHNICA in 1985 was hold at the famous "Frankfurter Messe". Since 1995 it was hold every two years in November, alternating with the "EuroTier" held at the "Hannover Exhibition Grounds".
The next AGRITECHNICA is scheduled from the 12th to the 18th of November in 2017. Check out the website:
First use of the High-Density-Baler at the University at Anhalt in Strenzfeld (Bernburg / Saale, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany): Department of Agriculture, Nutritional Sciences and Landscape Development. Among others the straw bales were pressed for the great harvest festival of the university.
Usage of a K868 pressing hay in Waschleithe (Saxony, Germany).
Pressing 600 parcels in the shortest time was our task!!
As we say: fast, reliable, K868 ...
On our way in Leipzig (Saxony, Germany): thank you for 4 interesting and successful days. Over 1,000 exhibitors from 14 countries were on site on-a-net-exhibition-area of 70,000 m² in the outdoor area. 48,900 people visited the exhibition, that is considered one of the most important agricultural exhibitions in Central Germany.
We love animated pictures - showing the K868 first usage in the Ukraine - the Danube Delta (Eastern Europe).
This factory presses lucerne-grass with approximately 25% humidity, drying the bales subsequently and then export it mainly to the United Arab Emirates.
Our products are now available in St. Petersburg (Russia) and around the agricultural machinery trade.

E303 + E309 in action this season near Odessa / Ukraine (Eastern Europe). Big shoutouts to our colleagues in the Ukraine. Thank you for the pretty photos!
PS: The machines were overhauled by us in Schlettau.
Second usage in Raßnitz near Halle Saale
(Sachsen Anhalt, Germany).
Believe it or not, the task was to press
4500 parcels for building houses with straw insulation.
That's quite a lot. But we did it.
Our fellow dealers of Agro Silja from Latvia will present the FORTSCHRITT-Silage-Spreader at the International Exhibition For Agriculture And Fishery in Riga from the 3rd to the 6th of April. In the coming weeks there are also performances driven with the Hercules 2002.
A High-Density Baler K868 in use at Leibniz Institute For Agricultural
Engineering in Potsdam (Brandenburg, Germany). We were pressing industrial hemp. Industrial hemp is made of very long fibers and it`s woody - not a problem for the K464.
Industrial hemp: The application spectrum of it is very broad, ranging from the use of hemp fibers as raw material for the textile industry through the use of hemp oil and hemp seeds in the diet.
Enclosed is a pretty good-looking E 512 that is still waiting for it`s labeling. Thank you for sending these pretty pictures to the farm FISCHER from Bahra.
