2000-2004

With the reunification of East and West Germany and the end of a state-owned enterprise (VEB) the industrial production was  the second pillar to FORTSCHRITT alongside the traditional agricultural technology until circa 1998. FORTSCHRITT produced mechanical parts and plant components at the highest finishing level for many well-known enterprises and abroad. The range extended from the item to the handling of complete major projects. In the middle of 2004  the last CT-combine-harvester left the assembly lines.

Historical photo: the last CT-harvester leaves the station. On 12-31-2004 the location "Neustadt Sachsen" in Germany was shut down by the CNH (public holding company) . Since that time CASE belongs to the "CNH Industrial" and produces agricultural machinery now known as CASE IH (Industrial Harvester). The model "Case IH CVX Optum" was model of  the year at the Agritechnica in Hannover 2016.
